At Foresight Care we look after children who have had a rough start. You would be one of the people who makes their days feel normal and safe. Full training, and no care experience needed. Just the right sort of person.
Filmed with our staff and around the home. We never show the children, safeguarding comes first.
What you would actually do
No two days match, but this is the shape of it. If reading this makes you think "I could do that," you probably can.
Breakfast, uniforms, and making sure everyone gets to school on time, the same as any parent would.
Logs, appointments, planning the evening, a food shop. It is a real house, so it needs running like one.
You cook a proper meal together and help with homework. Often you are just there while they tell you about their day.
Sometimes a child kicks off because something hurts that they cannot say yet. You stay calm and you stay kind.
Football in the garden, a film, a drive out at the weekend. Ordinary things that a lot of these kids never had.
A calm bedtime routine, then one last check on the daily records before your shift ends.
Let us be honest with you
We would rather tell you straight than have you leave in three months. Read both lists before you get in touch.
We train you, and we keep you
We put you through everything the role needs and we pay while you learn. People who train with us tend to stay, and we build the rota around real life.
Pick whatever is easiest. No CV needed to say hello, and no long forms. A real person replies, usually the same day.
Every role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and references. We follow safer recruitment, always. Safeguarding our children comes before everything else.
